There’s a lot that goes into keeping a home running—things to organize, projects to finish, maintenance to remember, appointments to schedule, and problems that inevitably pop up along the way.
None of those things are necessarily a big deal on their own. But together, they become one more list you’re constantly responsible for managing.
I started The Everyday House Co. because I believe getting help with that list should be simple.
Your home doesn’t need to be perfectly organized or have every project finished. It just needs to work for the way you actually live. And sometimes, making that happen means having someone you can hand a few things off to.
Taking care of a home is a lot. Getting help with it shouldn’t be.
A Little About Me
I’m Erin, and I’m one of those people who genuinely enjoys figuring things out.
I love a good list, an organized space, a project that needs a solution, and the satisfaction of finally taking care of something that’s been sitting on the to-do list for months. I’m usually the person researching the options, making the plan, building the thing, or finding a simpler way to make something work.
Professionally, I’ve spent years working in roles centered around organization, problem-solving, and turning a lot of moving pieces into a clear plan. At home, those same tendencies show up in a slightly different way—usually with a tape measure, a label maker, a running house list, or a project I’ve decided I can probably figure out myself.
The Everyday House Co. brings those two sides of me together: the organized, systems-minded problem solver and the person who genuinely loves working on a house.
And yes, I really do enjoy the stuff you’ve been putting off.
The idea for The Everyday House Co. started with a pretty simple realization: there are a lot of ways to hire someone to take care of one specific thing in your home, but not many options when what you really need is help with the list.
Maybe the pantry needs a better system. There are pictures you’ve been meaning to hang. The garage has become a catch-all. You know the gutters need cleaned, but you haven’t had time to figure out who to call. None of it is an emergency, but all of it is taking up space on a list somewhere—in your phone, on the counter, or just in the back of your mind.
I kept coming back to the same thought: what if you could just hand someone the list?
That’s what I wanted The Everyday House Co. to be.
Not a cleaning service. Not a contractor. Not someone coming in to make your home look picture-perfect. Just a capable, trusted person who can help you organize what isn’t working, tackle the projects that need doing, and take care of some of the details you’re tired of keeping track of.
Because a home doesn’t have to be finished or perfect to feel good. Sometimes it just needs a few things taken off the list.
Why I Started The Everyday House Co.
Your home doesn’t have to be perfect. It just needs to work for you.
I know inviting someone into your home—and letting them see the closets, unfinished projects, overflowing drop zones, and all the things you haven’t gotten around to—can feel a little vulnerable.
There’s no judgment here.
I’m not coming into your home to tell you how it should look or how you should be doing things. I’m here to understand what isn’t working, what’s taking up your time or mental energy, and what would make everyday life a little easier.
Sometimes that means creating a better system. Sometimes it means grabbing the tools and getting a project done. Sometimes it means knowing that the job belongs with a professional and helping you figure out who to call.
Whatever is on the list, the goal is the same: practical help that makes your home easier to live in and easier to take care of.
